Companies are seen as key drivers of sustainable technology development. They decide on which technologies to develop, materials to use in production, resources to invest, and risks to take while focusing on the environmental, economic, and social impacts that the new sustainable technology implies.
This seminar focuses on sustainable technology management from a business perspective. It aims at addressing technology development processes, challenges, and drivers that shape companies’ sustainable technology management strategies. The seminar offers both:
- theoretical frameworks on sustainable technology management in companies; and
- case-study examples from technology-based sectors such as energy and mobility.
The participants will learn about sustainable technologies in a management and strategy context. In addition, they will be able to understand, analyze, and develop managerial solutions for sustainable technology development within organisations.
