The Chair’s vision is to integrate business with engineering in research, teaching, and outreach. In doing so, research in technology and innovation management analyzes the whole process from the first idea to market success.

The heart of our research activities lies on the sustainable strategic management of Research and Development (R&D) in technology-oriented companies. This is analyzed in the following four fields of research: Entrepreneurship, Intellectual Property, Open Innovation as well as Ideas and Innovation

The Chair is part of Nuremberg Campus of Technology (NCT) and the Center for Management, Technology and Society (CMTS), which supports the cooperation between different faculties.
