Successful exchange of research and teaching with University of Bern
Within the program of the Dr. Alfred Vinzl Foundation, Prof. Dr. Peter Bican already visited the University of Bern and Prof. Dr. Frederik Riar, who is based there at the Institute for Organization and Human Resources, in March 2022. The exchange was continued and intensified with another visit from July 25-27, 2022.
The two stays were used for both research and teaching on the topic of “Innovation and Family Business”. In advance, there were already several joint project and final theses, both at FAU and the University of Bern, to discuss the first thematic foundations.
Furthermore, Prof. Bican held a guest lecture in the course “Technology and Innovation Management” (lecture in the Bachelor’s program in Business Administration) on the topic of Intellectual Property Management and was thus integrated into the teaching of the partner university.
The Dr. Alfred-Vinzl-Foundation promotes science (teaching and research) between the Friedrich-Alexander-University Erlangen-Nuremberg and the University of Bern, especially by financing the exchange of lecturers and students.
